10 reasons it’s great to be single from a woman’s prospective!
Forget about relationships for the time being; enjoy being on your own.

10. Your shoe and closet inventory is nobody's business but your own.
A full-time partner may grumble and complain about your shoe collection? Or your love of accessories or your need to “shop til you drop”. Words like "outrageous", "excessive" and "unnecessary" come quickly to mind. Do you want to listen to this every time you and the girls want to go out on a shopping trip?

9. The mess in your home is your own mess and nobody else's!
Many a romance has been killed by picking up after a man. Underwear, dirty socks and other laundry items that just don’t hit the laundry basket OR the machine will not be your problem. If you're cleaning up, at least it's your mess and and your mess alone. 

8. You’ll have peace of mind; it’s less work!
Imagine day in and day out trying to figure out what they mean when they say something. Interpreting the foreign language of a man can be exhausting. You’ll never have to ask yourself what they mean when they make a comment. It’s the same in all relationships; whether it’s a new boyfriend or a comfortable long-term partnership, if you’re single it won’t be your problem. 

7.You have freedom, any night can be girls' night.
No checking in with a spouse or significant other; you can go out any night of the week if you want. Whether you want to hit the town with your girls or have an all-night girls night at your house; any time is your time! Of course your friends will be more comfortable lounging around with wine and witty banter if your spouse isn’t walking through the house trying to catch snippets of your conversations and offering his “sage” advice.

6. You don't have to deal with in-laws.
Loving your own parents is good but even they can annoy you sometimes. If you have another set of parents that aren’t your own, imagine how less tolerate you will be when they start to annoy, aggravate, and irritate you. Who needs that? Not you. Your own parents do the job just fine.

5. It's all about you, all the time.
You can do what you want, go where you want, eat what you want, wear what you want, sleep in when you want, get up when you want, shop where you want. You don’t answer to anyone but yourself!... the list is endless and so are the possibilities!

4. Your bed is ALL yours.
Snuggles are okay occasionally but isn’t it nice to stretch out and not have to worry about sharing  the blankets orgetting pushed out of bed by a bed-hog of a partner. After all, we ladies need our beauty sleep. We shouldn’t have to worry about these annoyances while we are having a quality sleep.

3. Birthdays and special occasions will never be forgotten.
There will be no more guessing or second-guessing whether or not your spouse will remember or forget any special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries or Valentines. Or what “lack of thought” gifts he quickly grabbed on the way home from work just to placate you. Gifts that you know held no special meaning for you or him. Who needs it?

2. Your entertainment options will always be entertaining to you.
This means that you don't have to spend another Saturday night watching some stupid sci-fi flick that only a man would watch or another lame sporting event like golf, football or hockey unless you want to. No more wrestling or arguing about who controls the remote for the television. You get to watch all the chick flicks that you want to without listening to a man pick the movie apart.

And the number one reason it's great to be single?

1. Complete independence
You’re a valid, competent and vibrant woman. Falling into a relationship just because that's what you think you should do doesn’t make sense. You don’t need a relationship to tell you that you’re an amazing and strong person. If you want companionship; you will get a lot more comfort and unquestionable and unconditional love from a household pet. With a lot less headaches or empty promises too. You will never have to worry if your dog, cat or iguana is going to lie or cheat on you either.

Embrace being single and just do it all for yourself. Pay down your own debts, buy a house or become a successful career woman. Whatever your goals are, don’t forget to take pride in your accomplishments that you achieve all by yourself.
